Eighth Grade Social Studies: Ms. Bonesz is taking charge of the class for this unit as a major part of her student teaching experience. We are beginning our study of the Great War. Students will investigate the various causes of war as well as the events that pull so many nations in to the conflict. There is will be a focus on U.S. involvement.

Eighth Grade Social Studies: We are completing a unit on Progressivism and using document analysis in writing an essay. We will begin a study of the policy of imperialism at the turn of century as well as its connection to today. Students will be mapping the colonies of world at the turn of the century.
